Care and Share of Crookston, Inc. treasures the gift of time and talents. From working with a staff in the office or sending out our Newsletters to helping with a labor project. Anybody can have an impact on our mission. Take a look at our opportunities and see how you can help.
A Volunteer agreement must be completed prior to volunteering. Age limits start from 15+ with parent or guardian supervision for volunteers ages 15,16, & 17. Please include any restrictions or limitations you may have in the tell us about yourself section. We hope to see you soon!!, & thank you so much for thinking of our organization!
Volunteer Opportunities
Care and Share of Crookston, Inc. is a very busy place and often needs assistance in the Donation Room either on a regular weekly schedule, or on a project-by-project basis. Duties may include but are not limited to:

Hanging cloths

Organizing household items

Cleaning & tidying the area

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is creative, enjoys organizing and likes to see immediate results.
Our establishment is a large property and from time to time, our buildings need routine maintenance and upkeep. Projects may include painting, pressure washing, lawn care such as weeding, and/or clearing out invasive plants.

Ideal for anybody that is handy or enjoys working outdoors and doing landscaping.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals, clubs, organization groups or UMC students.
You can help us meet the needs of the families and individuals by providing personal hygiene products, or baby supplies such as baby diapers. Another way to support our residents would be by providing prepared food for our Soup Kitchen or donate fresh fruits or vegetables from your garden to the New Hope Food Shelf.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals clubs, organization groups, or UMC students.
Adopt-A-Room
Program
Care and Share of Crookston, Inc. partners with churches from around the area to help prepare the Hope Center for homeless families. This created the Adopt-A-Room Program. The churches adopt a room at the Hope Center and make it more personal and homelike for families during their stay.
